7-8 hours of drama. All kinds of storylines.
Great players making great plays. Games coming down to the final minutes.
An underdog, TCU, pulling off a shocker.
Sometimes we don’t appreciate what we have,

Happy New Year Canes!

Helps if and when Miami matters again, but yes, great games today. I hope I am wrong, but expecting a Georgia blowout next week. I don't see them playing another crappy game next week. It would be soooooo sweet to see TCU win it though.

Game has changed and that's why you don't see defense the way it used to be although you do see flashes of it when the elites aren't banging heads together.

The top teams load up with talent and they spread every great defense out. Got the right QB, he'll find the open guy if he isn't schemed open.

Old days pretty much everyone played a double high safety. Now you can't do that with multiple wide receivers out there. The only real counter is an insane DL and if both OL's are up to stopping them, defense flies out the window.

I can’t pinpoint why I like college football more than the pros.
I do like the pros, though, especially around the time of the playoffs.
Football is just a great, well-packaged sport, made for television.
Violence, drama, strategy, cheerleaders…
I feel sorry for the players who end up drooling and slurring their words later in life.
But no one forced them to play. They know the score these days…

NFL is sterile.

I can and usually do watch CFB from 8 am till midnight on Saturday's and could care less if I ever watch another pro game on Sunday or Monday,or Thursday or Saturday or….well you get the idea.

I love CFB but trying to watch an NFL game is just different.

Basura...

Soon the over under on football games will be 100+

Football is becoming the NBA - all offense, and zero defense.
