The new College Football 27 video game hit the stores and digital online copies on July 9th. It has now been a full two weeks since the game released and it has lived up to my expectations. When I'm not writing about Mario Cristobal snatching another recruit out of the monster 2027 recruiting class, you can probably catch me in my bedroom, sitting down and playing my Miami Hurricanes dynasty.
I have played over 20 hours on the video game and here are my full observations and notes from my experience:

Miami Hurricanes CFB 27 Observations & Notes
-- One of the major changes the EA Sports crew added to the new video game is that you can change the crowd theme for each game. The Hurricanes are only provided with one option: the Hurricanes Orange Out. The theme especially hits when you're under the lights at Hard Rock Stadium as you set the team to wear the all-orange uniforms. It adds a nice touch to the game and makes it feel more like Saturday.
-- EA Sports completely nailed it when it came to Malachi Toney. Whenever you watched Toney this past season, he had that burst and quickness to excel from defenders. He is one of the most electrifying players to play in the game just because of his quickness and twitchiness.
-- The game feels a lot more competitive against the AI. The quarterback sneak timing is a really good piece the developers added. The computer feels 10 times smarter than last year's game. The AI plays much smarter on the defensive side of the ball and doesn't make glitchy, late-game plays.
-- NIL deals help Miami stick out from others. In this day and age, NIL has became a big part in recruiting. The developers added NIL for the first time, and Miami sticks out from the rest, flexing its big-bag muscles.
-- For the third time in a row, Miami Hurricanes head coach Mario Cristobal is not in the College Football Video Game. However, Shannon Dawson and Corey Hetherman are in the game.
