I'd like both to stay and hope both do. But which player is more of a need to come back than the other, in terms of having a better team?

Coley. He's proven he can be REALLY good at times and the WR depth is awful.

AQM has potential, but it hasn't translated on the field yet like Coley's has.

If this is purely hypothetical I'll take AQM. Dude was beginning to beast this year when they let him eat. And defense is what reminds me of Miami football. If he can grow into a monster it frees up others in the dline. Our O will be fine with skill players. Not elite but fine.

Is it really even close? Its Coley by a mile...DJax is ready to step right in for AQM if need be. He will be a stud in an aggressive 4-3 defense.

Coley. Need someone who can skretch the field. He can take the top off the secondary. Still would like to see him add a little bulk to get ready for the league.

DJax put on some bad weight I'd like to see him tone up a bit more while still getting stronger.

Though I think AQM could be a beast, Coley may be a more vital piece. Neither should seriously consider leaving based on their body of work so far.

AQM.

His impact will be greater.

Coley's impact is subdued due to our ineptitude along the offensive line.

Coley is needed more for our team. I can't think of another WR other than Cager that could even play outside and not in the slot now that Brady is gone. Coley could be a 4th or 5th rounder this year off potential alone and maybe come back and be a 2nd or 3rd next year.'

AQM could benefit himself more but our D would be fine without him, although he would make it better for sure. He would be a 3rd day pick 5-6th rounder this year. If he comes back he could be a 1st round pick but realistically a 2nd rounder.

Since the day to declare is Jan 8th and we still haven't heard, I'd assume they both got info back from NFL Draft Advisory and both were told to go back to school.

If this were baseball, they would both leave because they can have leverage to get a higher signing bonus, in the NFL your bonus is based off where you are picked. They have nothing to gain by leaving now, but they could both be leaving big up front money on the table by leaving. You make your money off signing bonus and the contract after your rookie deal, it just doesn't make sense to leave.

AQM because I want to see what Kuligowski can do with him.

I think we can reload at WR quickly with Sam Bruce coming in, etc.

Did Coley say he's for sure going to draft?

Coley. Our WR position is a huge question mark.

This. AQM's a valuable player as well. But we at least have depth on the defensive line. Coley leaves for the NFL and we're trotting out Lewis, Berrios, and Cager as the only returning receivers next season. This is what makes keeping Bruce and hoping and praying that Mullins is eligible to make it into Miami.

To be fair everybody on the o-line is coming back, and six months with a competent S&C and o-line coach plus another full year on the program and the unit should see marked improvement. They may not be great but we SHOULD see improvement. I agree that AQM does have more potential to impact the game if he became an elite pass rusher.
