Coley hiding new offense? WTF!

What in the world of offensive concepts so revolutionary in design by Coley that need to be kept under rap? I don't think there is any DC in all America that is the least bit concerned about James Coley's designed sets or play calling. There's a better chance a Beaver building a dam blocking the Hillsborough River than any teams DC and defense being baffled and wowed by James' new offensive wrinkles.

3 possibilities

A. Per Goldie's instructions, he slows the pace of the offense during the season to help the defense and also called a horrible vanilla spring game to also make the D look good.

B. He sucks as an O coordinator

C. Both

"Vanilla" is the go to word when the team sucks dyck in a public scrimmage. And all the dopes eat it up.

he better have a spread play book hidden because if we keep up with this pro style **** we aint going to win

The pro offense works extremely well it is the handicapping by the head coach that is the issue.

Go Canes

of the four teams in the final four which one was a pro team? and of the 2 that made it to the finals were spread teams, bama switched to more spread because thats what you need to win now a days in college, that pro stuff dont work anymore gotta have all your athletes on the field at once

They switched to more spread because they didn't had the QB to run the pro... They won 3 NCs in 4 years with a typical pro offense/QB. It's more than any spread team combined in that span!

They also relied heavily on defense. Is that going to happen here?

I remember Patrick Nix's "spring vanilla" play calling.

Nix had a broken calendar, though. Always spring.

Exactly my point

Coley has a way to go to catch up to Golden who has managed to hide his coaching ability his 4 years at miami.
