Coaching

I’m really not concerned about offensive playcalling. I think Richt needs to improve in a few areas, particularly creativity in the run game and in the red zone, but we were severely limited by offensive personnel this year. Rosier needed to be covered up. We had basically one running back, who isn’t really a feature back-type kid. Our WRs were in trouble. One tight end.

It was actually a great coaching job overall by Richt. The only structural thing that really concerns me is whether we can establish a power run game, which we need. The lack of push from the OL against inferior opponents was concerning and I’m not sure better talent magically fixes that. The talent on the OL is sufficient to get push against Duke and UNC.

We won 10 games. That's a fact. When you play a NFL defense the QB has to be able to make more than one read or we have to have a dominant run game. We have neither. Our offense is average and lack depth at a bunch of positions. That wont be the case next season. RBs take no time to play, WRs as well, we have OL who will be through another spring practice as well as some talented FR who are physically ready to contribute. We have two talented TEs coming in and Irvin has a offseason as the man to get his *** in shape. Richt is going to grind on that boy. I expect him to be the most improved player coming out of spring practice.

But the biggest thing will be open competition at QB. I seen Manzeil and Winston be dynamic play makers as redshirt FR, i expect the same from Perry. That boy is a real QB with top level arm talent and athleticism. If he doesnt win the job it would be because Rosier improve exponentially. Every game i can gripe about something Richt did or didnt do, i thought he should use the wild cat more. But i know this, Bama never gets run on, they drop a bunch of LBs and Miss St and Auburn push their **** in on the ground.

When Richt has a full deck of championship level talent i will judge him cause last time i checked he beat pretty much all the teams we are expected to beat and some they said we would lose to, but to take the next step and stand up to teams like Clemson, its players with talent who make the difference.

There's no reason to pay any attention to playoffs or national championship opportunity if we run the ball 32 times per game
