I think ST is on of the most difficult parts of the college game. No one but the PK and punter really wants to be on them. You have to hope you get guys that know that’s their only role and way to get on the field.
I’m really curious about what went down with the kicker transfer from Texas.
I thought he was brought in to be the guy and was really surprised when they trotted the kid from FAU out.

Imagine how different things turn out if Miami had a special teams coordinator that

1) landed a better FG kicker
2) taught how to block on punt safe
3) taught how to block flyers on a punt return

Totally agree. Any thoughts on the punter & his moving further than normal to his right on kick. Our boy Lance thought it was more on the punter than our beleaguered TE.

Their are a lot of coaching hires yet to be made across football. We need to worry about who we hold onto before we worry about who we hire.
