Coaching Staff Making Same Al Golden Mistakes

Richt has 170 wins and is more than a hundred games over .500 for his career. Al Golden will never coach a Power 5 team again.

Please stop creating asinine threads like this.

I never said Richt was a bad coach - more like making bad choices. I said he is treating the fanbase the way Al Golden did. That's it. My point: shut the F*** up and win. BTW... if I throw a dog a bone I don't give a sht if it tastes nice.

Richt asking fans to show up, says good atmosphere is great for recruiting, no shi t... you know what's better?? W

how bout you show us an Offense worth paying for, an OL that can push the comp around and better play on ST.

Team is still playing with poor football IQ. I used this reference many times during Shannon era. Unfortunately, it has returned badly this year. Too many dumb penalties especially false starts!!

Epi, Epi, Epi...were you at the Rock for the Notre Dame and Virginia Tech games last year? When did you ever see an Al Golden team blow out two nationally ranked teams? We've lost two tough games but come on dude.
That was last year!! Why have we digress?!! Why NO QB ready to step up?!! Why OL stink?!! Why receivers running the wrong routes?!! WHY WHY WHY??? Why are we losing in his 3rd year??!!!! Get your head out Richts ***!!

I think you’ve digressed enough for one day as well.

I'm curious as to what the head coach is supposed to say in response to the fans negative reaction? Should he say "Yup, the fans are right, I'm an idiot". Because no coach is ever going to say that. I mean there's a reason they call those types of responses "coach speak". They're generic and pretty meaningless. Yeah, they sound similar to Al Golden. They also sound similar to every single coach who's team is struggling in the history of football.
I believe the fans have legit gripes with the staff and team. However, I don't think it's the coach's job to give fans the answers they want to hear. It's the coach's job to win games. If he wins, nobody cares, if he loses, he'll eventually get fired. He could literally say "All the fans can suck my Richt ****!" and as long as the team won big, the stadium would be full every game.

He can say he did not do a good job preparing his players for LSU, Virginia, Boston College. Because it is obvious to everyone but him he did not have them ready. He can discuss his playcalling, and how he needs to find ways to get receivers open, or get J4 more touches. He can discuss the quarterback issue, and why exactly (not some bull**** about leadership) Blowsier, despite being the worst P5 QB this year, is starting. There’s lots of other things besides throwing players under the bus.

We got to allow Richt to get to the off-season to make changes. If he doesn’t, let’s RIOT. But this is the first season that steps backwards under Richt so it’s the first time to expect changes. But he’s not hiring an OC in November

Aren't UNC and FSU power 5 teams?

Losses: LSU in Dallas, @UVA, @BC
Wins: UNC, FSU at home

If you want to go back to last year then why not count the first ten games, that doesn't work for your narrative.

Miami is 5-3 with 2 home games and 2 road games left. If they are 7-5 at the end of the year, banners will fly and changes will have to happen. If they are 9-3, I doubt much changes and we now have some momentum heading into the bowl and 2019. Let it play out as no coaching changes will happen between now and Dec 1.

I'll say it again u even see it at the high school level with certain teams. Everyone has talent where are the smart football players?

Al Golden had a better staff.....If all were let go right now....about 4 of these guys would be doing security at a high school and coaching some middle of the road varsity team
