Honestly, I don't mind the idea of having an end-of-season exhibition game in which the starters take the place of the staff and coach the second/third teamers. Bowls are likely dead without some major and immediate innovation.Total insanity. I’m not sure we’ve ever seen anything approaching this before. Am I wrong?
Does someone have crimson tide tears? Are their fans livid about the idea of their coach leaving them for another program?
You gotta be kidding me.
100% agree.I have no idea what will happen with Brown and don't care, but I like the idea of giving the backup the start. They should sit all the starters and let the backups start and play that game.
Give those guys live reps to see what you have and what you need before you start signing checks for next year.
You have one portal window and need to be spot on with what you have in-house.
Spring games have become non-entities; so, use the bowl game (which means nothing) as a pre-spring game.
Everyone is.I’m confused.
Agreed, but I guess this is their cheesy way of keeping him engaged while they negotiate the NIL package.100% agree.
I thought the "Coach Brown" was a bit much.
My friends who are Bama fans are take it or leave it with him, more leave it if they can get Lanning to replace him.Does someone have crimson tide tears? Are their fans livid about the idea of their coach leaving them for another program?
DeBoer and his whole barbecue-crew coaching staff just aren’t a fit at Bama. DeBoer simply isn’t showing he’s a high-level coach. I expected real in-game adjustments—there are none. I expected him to tailor the offense to the strengths of his quarterback—he didn’t do it with Milroe, and he’s not doing it with Ty. And I expected him to put a physical, reliable run game on the field. Instead, this offense can’t run the ball at all.
Truth is, this offense looks no better with Grubb than it did with Sheridan.
At this point, I don’t believe DeBoer is a good coach. It’s looking more and more like he and his offensive staff rode the arm of a generational college QB to massive paydays, and now the flaws are showing.
I’d be shocked if Bama went Dabo after this year. Lanning would be my guessLook for a Dabo move from Clemson to Bama soon after Bama exits CFP..
What about the Georgia DC. Think they might go after himI’d be shocked if Bama went Dabo after this year. Lanning would be my guess
