Is PSU able to sue for a contract that doesnt pay him market value since he has an obligation to offset? They must’ve considered it and think it will hold up but it’s hilarious the middle finger this gives PSU

Not if he’s been their main target and just made his decision. Now you pivot. Because your program is inferior to LSU. As, you know, literally everyone outside your inbred fanbase tried to tell you and you didn’t listen because you’re a delusional loser.
 
Honestly crazy Lane choosing LSU with the whole Spurrier idol and wife connection. Thought for sure he would stay at the end of the day or go to UF but LSU if rumors are true really pulled it off.

I'm not saying you are wrong, but if they really sat on their ****s ever since Napier was fired with him as only option then that is hilarious.

There is no way I’d pick that LSU mess. You have the governor meddling. You have they fired Kelly, then tried to negotiate down his buyout after firing him. Then tried to claim they never fired and suggest he just stop showing up in order to use that as cause for firing him to get out of the money owed.

I guess the bright side is you can probably bet the governor is going to want credit for a championship after getting personally involved and will likely lean into his supporters to provide what $$$$ they need to make this work

I’d probably pick LSU over any job not named Miami tbh. Talent rich state that funnels top players to you. Insanely passionate base, insane money, etc. Things might be a mess rn, but if you can win they’ll basically do whatever you want.
