BOB has been angling for another big time job since he got canned by the Texans. The fact that the best he could do was Boston College is hilarious.

he hasn’t proven he’s good enough of a coach to warrant a position better than HC of BC. The nicest thing anyone can say about him is that he’s experienced and did a “nice” job at Penn State relative to the circumstances they were in at the time. That’s not really an impressive resume. Plus Alabama fans consider him to be the worst OC they had in like a decade +.

I agree, a good AD would have looked to make an innovative/outside the box hire, but this is simpleton, incompetent Blake James so he loves retreads.

They're going to get boatraced in the Big 10. Rose Bowl is about 80% empty for games and they aren't playing the NIL game either despite their locale. They barely signed a top 60 class and most of that was propped up via the portal. Literally 1 4 star prospect in their entire class.

I think its surprising that its a B10 HC going to be a B10 OC. Unforeseen consequences of the current landscape of CFB ?
