That rich Coastal Carolina guy needs to make pitch to Chadwell to stay

Unless USF is making huge offer, I just don’t see it being better
 
WVU hired the North Texas AD which might set up Neal Brown being fired and Seth Litrell replacing him as HC. Litrell has a great offense and would have been a pipe dream/Candle-esque type of OC hire here

Also frees up Neal Brown as a potential OC candidate. That said, Littrell is a really underwhelming hire as a HC

Why delay the inevitable? Based on WVU's record under Neal Brown, it's highly unlikely there will be a turnaround that is significant enough to warrant him staying beyond 2023. Must be a buyout related issue.
It's pretty rare that an AD comes in and fires the HC immediately. Miami power brokers made sure that the HC was in place before a new AD was hired to avoid such an outcome.

They could do what Nebraska did with Frost, give him a last chance to fix things, if not fire him and get a head start on the next coaching carousel
