This seems like a low key big hire. Hockey players have to be in incredible shape. For him to have experience with multiple NHL teams is a big deal to me. Unsurprisingly it also reflects how much thought Mario is putting into every level of the organization.

I'm going to be a little over the top here...but biggest hire during the offseason. I was just talking to @DMoney about how important it is to get someone who can translate the data. Saban did it when he hired Rhea.

Actually, Jimbo was the first to do it when he hired Chris Jacobs to read his catapult devices.
