Trust me; I completely agree. Beach volleyball is on a whole different level. Just running in hot sand is killer, let alone tracking a ball, jumping, diving, all while that sun is beaming on u.

I’ve always felt like he would sacrifice manny to show he’s the boss and has things under control. As for his status I could see multiple things happening including him just leaving or being reassigned . Not sure if they’d fire him. Some think he’s a good fundraiser , even though others say that’s overrated. It seems torn on him.
We are so F*cked arent we?

I literally feel pain in my heart reading this.
Just the vibe I get is he’s over all of this. He’s not a big sports guy, he’s more of a dork. He doesn’t seem like the type of guy that can handle lot of booing and negativity. Which he’s getting a lot of today. As of today I have no clue what will happen , there's multiple things that could play out and I wouldn’t be surprised. I just think it’s a 50-50 shot he’s the Ad next year. That’s including if it’s by firing, reassigned or just moving on.

Feldman says the admin still supports him

And that his buyout is $9 million

I think if he loses the locker room and players quit on him and start hitting the portal, he has to be done. UNC game has potential to do that.

If I am Manny play the youngsters. They are hungry and probably not as jaded yet. They will at least fight. The vets probably have seen this show already so will quit.

So what are the % on Manure being there on Monday/after UNC/end of season?

It's such a **** dispiriting time

$8m buyout?? Not just $8m, but North of…?? Doesn’t seem accurate to me; well, especially considering he said they played their “3rd string QB” which is not remotely true.
The 3rd string QB who is clearly the #1 backup and would started here were it not for covid?

A 16-13 (0-2 in Bowl Games) record is fine at Miami as long as you don't lose the team.

Un****ingbelievable.

If nothing changes at the Bot / Administration level this year it never will. There has to be dramatic changes made , from attitude , leadership on down to spending. After all the media and public negativity the last couple weeks you’d think changes are inevitable, just how drastic? They’re obviously listening by all the public statements being made. There’s pressure.

If not now , just get used to being a middle of the pack Acc team at a school that just likes cashing the Acc checks. I’ve been living in that reality for awhile

They are not going to fire him unless/until we’re eliminated from the Coastal. I am pretty confident in that. And I’d bet my bottom dollar James is Miami’s AD next year unless he decides to step down/aside, which I don’t see happening.

That $8m has to be if he’s fired in season. That buyout should drop significantly in January. It was always stupid to give him a 5 year contract, it obviously should have been 4 which would put us in a much better position right now

Starting to wonder if there is some truth in the rumor he has some clause in the contract about the buyout in year 3. Rumor is it's near $8 million. then it drops significantly in year 4. No idea how "standard" or not this would be.
