Tate Frazier from the ringer tailgate, NC guy, said he has been hearing Dave Doeren is retiring after this year.
dear god almighty, there's about 10 Souff Flawda folks on that team that will get DMoney to 8million poRsts and counting with the "Bring Em Home" discourse. 💔 💔 💔

Heard they want Brian Kelly or one of the Indiana coordinators

NCST could be a solid job
Bryant Haines would do well there. I know Schumann wanted the UNC job, and has his eyes set on FSU, however I’d definitely try to get him as well if I were NCST.

On Brian Kelly, the Rutgers president and AD both came from LSU & have a lot of familiarity with BK. I believe they’re the team to beat. Whether NC State or Rutgers is a better job is kinda a fascinating question.

I’d say NC State for the next four years easily but after that it’s debatable because of potential conference realignment.

If Rutgers can get their money together it’s an excellent job.

Rutgers is in major debt and operate at a deficit. I don’t think their money is ever going to come together

University money isn’t always football money. Many universities have football programs that are quasi public institutions with most of their financing coming from private sources.

Bruce Feldman says Jake ****ert has every hot-seat AD’s attention; including Maryland’s however they don’t suspect he will leave for that. The other two targets he is hearing for Maryland are Jason Eck and Charles Huff, with Eck being the leading candidate. Charles Huff played football at Hampton and is a Maryland native. Would be his 4th program in 4 years lol.

Says other jobs will open up and go on-top of Maryland obviously; yet still up in there with FSU and USC being in a holding pattern.

Didn’t talk about other jobs which i definitely believe could open up if their teams crash out: Texas, Alabama. They (the athletic co-hosts) believe Wisconsin ultimately keeps Fickell for another year. Cite the program’s late adjustment to NIL. Say 7-5 is the toss-up record however they lean keep. 6-6 or worse and he’s probably gotta go.

Jason Eck wants this job and Jake ****ert is from Wisconsin which is why it’s of extra importance this cycle w/ the top sitting p4 HC and top sitting g6 HC both being tied to it.

Says he doesn’t believe Kyle Whittingham will be at Michigan for very long so it would behoove some candidates to just wait it out a year or two for S-Tier jobs like that if this cycle ends up being calm.

I think Kyle Whittingham retires after this season unless Michigan gets it together and goes on a crazy run (highly unlikely). I think Whittingham was a stopgap after they fired Moore and was never intended to be a long term solution.
