I know this is just an analogy but please don't refer to Richt as a snake, snakes are scary and have balls (actually they might not be you know what I mean), he's just a huge *****.

He made his own bed by inept hires, insistence on play calling and QB decisions... everyone and their mother could see this wreck coming from a mile away...

Right is going NOWHERE but time for loyalty is over. These are my necessary changes to be made:

Lil Richt - waste of $$$ and position. Daddy needs to find him a low level "more experience " type of position

Brown - real dude but if (and watching this BS it makes sense) like @Brooklyndee says he is largely responsible for this than he is the largest piece of the cancer we can cut out right now. While Brown coaches the RBs at GA they were on Richt teams so recruiting can be mitigated

Searles - Development a big ??? and recruiting bigger

This leaves Donk and Hartley, not free of guilt whatsoever, but needed for recruiting. Also, Hartley needs to be removed from ST. This means OC can come in with two/three coaches so should also not be too restrictive in terms of someone who just wants "his guys"



On D we could certainly try and end the training school we're running but results don't merit yet.
 
Searles once again with the wtf moment last night. Critical 4th quarter and what does he do? Puts in ND at RT for the first time who promptly gets worked the first couple plays. Good call, Stacy.

No reason to hold out hope with Richt in charge, we're talking about a man who's gotten it more wrong than right in his hirings by a ratio of 10:1. There's no hope and besides, what legitimate coach that sees this sinking ship is going to want to come here?

Until we cut the head off the snake we're cursed forever.

Jon needs to go. But the moment his wife had Mark's grandchild, Jon was instantly immune to firing.

Searels needs to go.

Since firing Jon IS NOT HAPPENING, I think we need to lose one of Patke & the dual secondary coaches. If it were me, it would be Patke since he's only been on staff one season. Maybe a dumb reason, but that's how I'd justify it.

Since I'm forced to keep him, I'd move Mr untouchable Jon to full time special teams coach (maybe it'll be his niche) & hire an O-line coach & QB/offensive coordinator.

Problem solved for the price of one Patke.
 
If we are real with ourselves personnel wise especially on offense(only WR's may have 1round potential as of now) we are not a playoff caliber roster. I know I'm bout to sound crazy but with all the flaws this might actually be great coaching jobs by Richt cause talent wise he has gotten this team to really overachieve the 1st few years. Wait before Y'all go crazy on me. Just answer this question for me I really want to hear Y'all answers. We calling Mark a bum and yes he needs an OC, QB coach, and O-line coach but talent wise compare this team and last years to teams in the past. I'm talking bout teams we thought we could have battled for a top 5 ranking, big east title, BCS berth, or maybe play for it all(if the cards fell right). These two Richt coach teams, in my opinion, can't compare to any of those teams talent levels. I was calling for him to go last night too watching the game but when I look @ the situation like that maybe he doing a better job than we realize and we just need to get a real OC & OL coach that's it. Y'all take it easy on me with the comments I'm down for whatever is the right move to get us playing for chips I just want Y'all to look @ a different perspective. He really didn't inherit **** so its a lot tougher but his last two seasons had us a little delusional. The bagmen making it a lot tougher to build the team fast.

Searels and Jon Richt are the ones that absolutely need to be axed. Our 2 worst groups on the team and it is not even close.

The rest are coaching for their jobs next season, plain and simple.

IMO, Rumph is a waste of space but he is on the low end of the need to be fired scale. I would just let Banda take over the DB room. Players are actually developing under him as safeties. After DL, safeties have been the position group that year to year has gotten better. Not only that but Banda can actually recruit.

Remove Diaz as the LB coach and make Patke the LB coach. Shocked by this statement? Well don't be because if you haven't notice I haven't complained about McCloud all year, why? because the dude is actually developing into a pretty solid LB under Patke. IDC what anyone says the quick development of McCloud especially the way he was playing before Patke started working full time with him is down right impressive. I've let it be known millions of times how slow, lost, and bad McCloud was playing and it like he became an solid starting ACC caliber LB over night. Not to mention, Patke is getting the most out of Romeo Finely. Patke is also recruiting well at LB so Patke can stay.

The jury is still out on Simpsons because he just lost a layup to Bama. Some of the prospects like Holly and especially Munoz are puzzling. Not the type of guys to take early in the cycle.

I've been saying it since like, last year. This S&C staff needs to go. We got neck injuries all over the **** place. We get handled by any team with a identify of being physical. Tell me how this is any better then Swasey? Our players get dragged around by RB. How many times did you see us gang tackle and the RB by himself push the pile for 2 yards? SOFT.

Not only that, but our O-line get 0 push and it doesn't matter who we play. I remember we got stuffed by Savannah State at the goal line. May it be technique or strength ALL I Know is we can't push ANYONE. Toss both of them out.

Thank you for pointing out S& C shortcomings, we have not been explosive since Butch was here with Moffit
who is now at LSU...... look at that squad versus ours we are weak upfront period
 
Even if he succumbs to the pressure and makes personnel changes, does anyone trust his judgement? The OC situation has distracted from how terrible he has been in selecting a staff. You have a couple good coaches with the rest mediocre to GA quality.
