We lost to Virginia. I couldn't care less anymore where we're ranked (not ranked in this case). We have a litany of problems on the offensive side of the ball that need to be fixed, starting with Richt.

This is the truth and what's scary is that we know he's not going to suddenly have some epiphany and do what he should have done long ago. I feel badly for all of us. We've suffered from corch to corch and i had hoped that Richt could break that streak but here we go again.

Stubbornness and ego in a coach is the worst thing.

This is exactly how you manage to have the #1 defense in the nation and not be ranked. Terrible offense and special teams. All due to coaching

You're looking at total yards, not yards per game.
Other teams have played 5 and 6 games.

#1 Total defense

#7 Yards per rush.
#11 Rush yards per game.

#2 Pass yards per game.
#4 Yards per attempt.
#4 QBR

And we have beaten FIU.
 
Going back to Pittsburgh loss last season...……..Canes are 3-5 (Im not counting Savannah and FIU) moving forward. That type of play doesn't represent ranked team. Canes got lucky vs FSU too. Program is back t being stagnant again. Losing to UVA is just downright unforgiving. Team is worst on offense and special teams in year 3.

3 point loss and drops 10 spots out of the polls . Michigan beats Wisconsin by 25 and they only dropped 3 spots...


We have a perception problem and if you think we don’t then you are sadly mistaken.

I’m not even saying we should be ranked in the top 20 or anything but when you see a team like Wisconsin barely dropping when they have worse losses on the schedule yet Miami gets blasted in the polls that sh*t is ridiculous

Give this major dude a cigar! Miami doesn't deserve to ranked right now. Maybe next month and what not.

Whats your point? Are you saying if we didnt fall so far after LSU we might be still ranked? Because even if we were still ranked right now we wont be in a month. We got about 3 more losses coming.

I could give af about the rest of these teams or Rankings. Nobody aint beating Bama accept maybe OSU.....

Yes, it was that devastating and all that. Thankfully Miami has two weeks to heal, practice and do some SERIOUS soul searching prior to a difficult road game against Boston College. That outcome of that game will determine which DIRECTION Miami's season goes. No ifs, buts or pass the mustard, Mabel.:youre-nuts:
 
Our 5 wins came against SSt, FIU, Toldedo, 1-4 UNC and struggled against 3-3 FSU.

Considering the 3 game losing streak last yr, and how we played like dog chit against LSU on a neutral field and UVA on the road...yeah, we deserved to be unranked.

The O & G glasses are off. I’m talking as a CFB fan. Miami has done nothing but underachieved thus far. The Canes deserves to be unranked. Richt has not impressed the pollsters, or many of us as fans.
