UNC hired Mack back just like Kansas St re-hired Bill Snyder ... to stop the downward spiral after two **** seasons in a row (3-9 and 2-10).

They didn't hire Mack back to be anything other than a figurehead placeholder so please stop with the Butch is younger than Mack by a nose hair).

We aren't looking for a placeholder and we weren't 5-19 the two prior seasons (though it sure feels like it!).
