Exactly. I mean coaches go from the NFL to NCAA all the time. Stoudland was a stud, look at the great guys he was responsible for here and at Bama. Seems like a no brainer hire to me. I went Miami > Bama > NFL > back to Miami and I KNOW what it's like at all these stops and there's no better place than Miami. Leatherwood would flip to Miami within 24 hours.

Coach Searels looks good in a Youtube video I guess, but I mean what has he done? Last few years has coached at VT and Texas when they were declining programs with coaches on the out. Seems like a bit of a reach hire, maybe the next Kehoe, has a lot to prove IMO. Not sure why everyone is riding his jockstrap. I don't blame Leatherwood at all for being hesitant to commit.

The videos of the coaches all seem nice. With that being said the DL coach is the only hire who has a resume I'm 100% sold on.

And no do not interpret that as saying that I think the assistants will fail. I'm just saying that the jury's still out on the staff. And we shouldn't pretend otherwise.

We need more people like [MENTION=14709]Waterfall[/MENTION] on this board. Posters who bring rational thought. Honestly - we cannot afford to have another 4 or 5 years of falling in love with the coaching staff to bitterly hating them (happened to us both under shannon and golden, so many people road both these guys jockstraps only to hate them 2 years later). The DL coach, Thomas Brown and Coach Rumph (gets a pass since he is legacy). Other than that just like Waterfall said "jury's still out" on a majority of this staff. I hope I'm wrong though, but the past 3 regimes have taught me to be skeptical.

He is a troll who has posted under numerous names, including fullyEricht and who likes to start threads bashing the coaches..,... For example, a few days after Richt took over, he started a "Fire Richt" thread because he said he wanted to get the 'process" started before he started losing games......Obviously a nole or gayyTurd who is trolling this site.

For example, a few days after Richt took over, he started a "Fire Richt" thread because he said he wanted to get the 'process" started before he started losing games......Obviously a nole or gayyTurd who is trolling this site.

Not a troll and not related to fullyEricht. Everything I say is supported by stats and rationale. I've been supportive of Richt and think he's a good coach, he has almost a 75% winning percentage. He will win games here at Miami.

All I said was I question is record against UF and questioned a few of the coaches hired ITT. It's perfectly rational to be skeptical of some of the coaches based on there performance at other programs, can't believe I'm being flamed and labeled because of this. The thing is, anybody that goes against what a majority of the board wants here is just a labeled "a troll". Nobody actually thinks through it.

All of this was discussed 8 months ago when he was hired so nobody wan't to hear your "fresh take"....no offense but get on board or gtfo.
