Coach Searels....say it aint so.....

The appear to be vastly improved from last year, remains to be seen how that translates against better teams. Trashing Canes players is not necessary, pulling for them to improve makes more sense to me.

Great to be a Miami Hurricane.

Some of you take everything so literally...what do you expect them to say when someone shoves a mike in the face every day?

can't help but think the blocking problem is mostly coaching philosophy....FAU'S Hendrickson is perhaps a day one NFL draftee and they had Trevor Darling going one on one with him, no chip blocking or nothing. CAN'T DO THAT ISHT AGAINST FSU!

alex gall is worse than orlando franklin.

In all fairness, I've seen players improve drastically in college. I remember fans trashing Ed Reed early in his career, and we all know how that turned out. I never give up on any player that is trying to improve.

Searels says he's happy with the play of seven linemen right now - the five starters plus Tyree St. Louis and Alex Gall.

He said Gall and St. Louis have "played well. I think either of those could be starters. Right now we have seven guys that play, that are gaining our trust as a staff. ... They played hard."

He also said Isidora is the best lineman on the team, havenbt heard anybody mention his play
I think our public schools are terrible. This is a direct result of poor hiring practices. I too want to believe.

Go teach in a urban public school you piece of ****.

Searels has to say something to the press.

Isn't his fault he inherited a team with no real power-5 quality offensive tackles, and a bunch of JAGs after your first 7 up.

you didn't get it. Sarcasm | Definition of Sarcasm by Merriam-Webster read again please, consider the op's profession and please compare to the first post in the thread. Also, fwiw teaching in any school is difficult. I don't believe one has to teach in a public school or in an urban area to be challenged professionally.

But when butch chooses u that player most likely will become a beast

Here we go again trashing our players. The last staff had our offensive linemen nearly diabetics running a pure zone blocking scheme with guys who were potentially more maulers. The times I saw Gall in the game in the second half against FAU Miami was running the ball very effectively.
