Doing a great job
Kept the best lineman in the state home in Donaldson
Flipped ultimately a gator lean in kaileon Herbert
Found an absolute gem in Corey gaynor
Look to be ahead of he curve in identifying Hillary from ga
Steal a kid out of Iowa country

In 2017
Has the best 2 interior guard prospects committed (reed another gator lean just committed) and scaife is an absolute stud too

Has Miami positioned well for a guy like John Campbell too who has most of the big time offers already
Truth of the matter is everyone is recruitign at an elite which is a great feeling

Like Peter said, a true veteran in his craft. Seems to really like it down here so I hope he stays a while!

Searels is earning his paycheck, no doubt. I'm so ****ed off last staff left us with nothing at OL in the 2016 class. Searels will need to work around that gap once McDermott, Odogwu, Darling and Linder graduate after this season. But 2017 and now 2018 are shaping up to be amazing back-to-back classes.

Just need some tackles, no idea how so many studs are going to play on the interior line.

Without a doubt, he is getting it done on the recruiting trail in a big time fashion!

On the field is a different story. His OL's have averaged 25 sacks per year given up since 2011.

He's done a good job of bringing them in, can he coach them up? Last year's line was the weakest part of the team and a majority of those guys were highly regarded recruits at one time. We desperately need the offensive line to make a big jump this year or we're in for a long season.

When Linder got out the whole oline looked better

That's true but they were still inconsistent. Especially run blocking. They need to make another jump this year from just OK to good if this team is going to make any real noise. Especially with a new starter at QB, we're going to have to rely on them more than last year.
