My guess: the next two scrimmages will NOT include live ammo against the QBs. Rather, Richt will again focus on the passing game concentrating reps on Sherriffs and Rosier. He'll look for command of the huddle, accuracy and making plays under pressure.
Then, he'll name number 1 and 2 QBs at the end of Spring Practice. Perry will arrive in May and have 2 1/2 months to learn and impress before fall camp starts. If he beats out our number one, great. If he doesn't, he'll likely redshirt with Weldon.
In 2018, Artur Sitkowski enters to challenge them all. Should be fun.
I feel like we all assume coach is here for 4-5years, wins a title or two and then hangs it up. Imo he gets a taste of the titles, he'll wanna turn it into a dynasty and to go down as one of the greatest of all time.
