Coach Richt & more... Post Game Presser 10/28/17

Honestly? More square-in routes, using Herndon more than just 1 fantastic play, not running a rb/wr screen pretty much every series when the defense has it snuffed out, running more route trees than just 4 verts, playing matchups in the middle of the field (Herndon again) to our advantage, not running inside zone RPO over and over again when our O Line is getting their *** handed to them...should I go on?!?

Rosier couldn't throw a swing pass today.

I've yet to find the play-calls that can cover for bad blocking and bad throwing.

Way to cherry pick one truth to support your narrative and turn a blind eye to the rest. I agree, Rosier is terrible at times and had a very poor game, BUT play calling sucked hairy wet balls this game. Poor player execution, poor play calling execution, **** poor O Line play

The point is it's coaching.

A point you didn't support.

You really think posting a bunch of stars and then showing that a player stunk means it's bad coaching?

Because it couldn't possibly mean that the recruiting ratings were wrong.

That never happens!

Sorry it's just cliche garbage.

Play-calling can't bail out bad blocking and throwing.

Do you know what cliche actually means? A said topic can't be cliche if it's rooted in truth and fact based on plain observations from multiple/the majority of the masses. I am not disagreeing with you on the player performance part, what I am trying to illustrate is that good play calling focuses on your strengths and is used to mask your weaknesses. I am not sure why Richt thinks we have Bama's O Line and tries to run the rock right up the middle so much with the inside zone, but it's not working and he needs to evolve his play calling. Essentially no intermediate pass routes in the middle of the field taking advantage of our size/speed advantage on the opposing team's LBs. No motion at the line to unbalance the defensive alignment...c'mon man, it's not all on coaching, but you have to be able to see the deficiencies in that department, no?

It's not rooted in truth.

It's an echo chamber.

A bunch of clueless message board couch potatoes regurgitate this every week. That doesn't make it "rooted in truth" at all.

The masses are also incompetent.

Saying that I should believe something because a bunch of bozos believe it is silly.

Just because Rosier doesn’t throw the intermediate middle passes doesn’t mean they aren’t being run. Herndon and Deejay both had big plays on middle routes.

Some don’t get that. They blame a route that didn’t work on the playcall while ignoring that three other routes were run on the same play

L-O-L...and I should believe what you are saying bc it's you?!? Especially since you are the "only" person toting this narrative?!? Again, the players are flawed, the O Line is crap, Rosier is feast or famine, but the O play calling has been equally putrid.

I 'm done with this debate, I'm having too much fun in Gaytor Tears relishing the demise of those cucks

Coach at it again..."it's about execution"...that includes execution as a play caller as well! smdh...

Fake coaches at it again... Obviously execution was the biggest issue today. You want Coach Richt to execute the plays too?? Lol hilarious

Our OL creates zero holes for the running game. They pass block well but suck balls at creating holes. We need to be able run to do what Richt wants to do.

WHat plays would have worked today? Running game couldn’t do anything and Malik was missing bubble screens

I dont know, but I know that 4 verts on 2nd & 8 and draw plays on 3rd and 15 are **** playcalls, and almost anything else would work better in those situations. There is absolutely no way to defend Richts playcalling at this point. If he doesnt hire a dedicated OC, we will never take the next step.

a draw on 3rd + 15 is probably the most called play on a 3rd + 15.

Our QB was BAD today. We had guys running free and open. We couldn't hit them. He had about 5 good throws today and they were the 4 long gains and the TD to berrios. Other than that we had guys free and he was throwing it in the dirt, overthrowing it, and making it hard for our WRs to catch the ball.

Also doesn't help in the redzone when your stud drops a first down pass with separation and room to run, but again it wasn't a great thrown ball.

Can't call plays when you can't make the right reads. Malik has played as bad as he has played all year the last two games. Now he is dinged up and hurt. Not good, but what do you call when your guy can't make it happen and Oline can't blow people off the ball?
