Coach Richt, Diaz & more... Post Practice Presser 11/22/17

Sounds like a coach or two maybe leaving or seriously weighing their options on the open market based on Coach Richt's comments about who the 10th additional coach added to the staff maybe come January.

Go Canes

That's quite the assumption.
Ah ya. That’s an understatement.

Since both of you are clearly deaf. Go rewatch Coach Richt's interview but this time put on the closed caption. The man clearly says that the reason he hasn't settled in on a 10th coach yet is because hes not sure who's leaving from the current UM staff so he may need to alter who he's hiring as a 10th coach and said he wants to wait until he sees how the other moves around college football in terms of staff's being put together at other schools.

For instance with Texas AM open and Ttech opening soon you don't think Banda would jump at the chance to go home an get a raise.

Go Canes

Again, it's an assumption of yours. And assumptions are like ********, everyone has one. So that's how much it's worth.

Berrios is all that plus a plate of pancakes. So **** thrilled to watch that guy actualize his best reality right here where he belongs.

Same exact dude he’s always been, just had to fight and wait for his opportunity.

We are vastly underestimating how much we will miss that guy next year.

It will be interesting to see how long this staff stays together.

I know a bunch of folks on here we’re hoping for fantasy football draft on his staff selection. But it’s clear he was looking to hire a staff he thought he could grow with and maintain.

I have to think guys like dugans, brown, Rumph and Banda are all guys that can stay here for 5 years. The big wild cards are Kul, searles and Diaz.

Kul doesn't seem like a guy that's going to leave. He has the Asst. HC title to his name and he seems like the type that likes to stay at places for long durations (stayed at Missouri for like 15 years until he wasn't retained).

Why does it feel like an adult therapist asking children how they feel about playing with their friends?

Yeah, we at least bought ourselves another 1-2 years with kul before the nfl comes calling again. I don’t think he’s interested in being a journeyman DL coach - but I do think he has DC aspirations in college. Searles strikes me as a journeyman OL coach but ultimately, Diaz is the biggest wild card

Diaz strikes me as a very smart guy. I don't see him leaving here to be a HC at a ****** program.

Kool would only leave for a legit DC gig.

As AU said above, Searels has been peripatetic his entire career. I think he left Rick's staff once before.
