Coach Richt, Diaz, Hartley & more... Post Practice 11/2/16

Kickoffs in college football for the most part have become irrelevant unless it's an onside kickoff. You could have McDerMott back there and get the same results.

Do you think any part of that statement makes any sense? OOOOhhhhhhh...11 posts, you're trolling. Sorry, thought you were just stupid.

I have no problem with Berrios returning kicks. He's had some big ones and he has the quicks to do it. Lewis doesn't need to be back there. He simply catches it and runs right into the tacklers. Has he even made it passed the 20 yet all season? We need to have someone back there that has the ability to house it at any given time. Lewis simply doesn't have the explosion or instincts.

I didn't watch the videos, but I would love for someone to respectfully ask Hartley what the reasoning behind Lewis and Berrios at KR/PR is.
Berrios is #13 in the county in punt returns.

Do you actually believe that stat?

I do not believe he is #13 in Dade, no way.

Right!? Im sure there are 6 year old pee wee football players in Dade with more punt return yards

Berrios has done a good job returning punts, I'll admit.

I'd rather have Elder back there but if Berrios isn't going to catch any passes he might as well contribute somehow.

Nice of Hartley to take Homer off kick return and throw Berrios back there. Berrios must have gotten another A+ in one of his classes and is being rewarded.

With PR, I might agree with you to an extent. If you look at the list posted, there is a negligible difference between the #5 returner and the # 20 returner. Ditto for #21 to #5 0.The issue with Berrios isn't that he sucks on PR. The issue is whether he's the best option. Can we do better? The guys ahead of him are key players/starters on their respective teams.

Speaking of KR, Pitt's guy this season is pretty dangerous. I hope they're ready for him Saturday.
