Coach Richt, Brown & more... Post Practice Presser 10/31/17

Does this actually write articles based on these dumb *** questions? I'm going to apply at the Herald if that's all it takes

I was watching the Thomas Brown interview and enjoying his candor. At about 3 minutes in I started thinking, holy ****, maybe they'll get through the whole thing without the lawnmowers kicking in. But no.

While I appreciate the candor of Coach Brown we need to get past the UNC game. Saturday UM can take a big step toward national relevance, at this point our sole focus should be VT. Half this board expressed the same sentiment last Saturday at 3:30 pm.

I think Brown took the UNC game as a teaching moment: if you play like that against VT, we're taking the L.

If SMD's job is to get as much worthless information out of these players as possible, she deserves a Pulitzer.

She tried to bait every one of the players interviewed with the CFP ranking questions, and if they were following it. She was hoping they’d say some stupid **** and get CMR’s doghouse. She even tried to get Jackson I believe, to trash talk VT re the 2.5 underdog line. Kudos to these kids, none of them fell for her amateurish baiting. Either she is shallow at her job, or plainly not the sharpest tool.

This game will be won or lost in the trenches. OL and DL.

Tech ain’t fancy like Toledo or Cuse. They will try to out-physical us with the running game.

If we can get our running game going and stop their run, we win. Simple as that. And keep a spy on their QB at all times.

Vag Tech isn't a physical power-running team. They might try that against us because we've had trouble stopping the run, but they haven't been a good running team all year. And they're not a power-running team. They're far more spread and finesse on offense than they used to be under Beamer.
