Not sure about the penalties since, IMO, those were due to mental laziness not corrected by the less than competent staff. The guts....oh yeah, they will lose some.

Did you see the players questions and answers from yesterdays interview. I saw Coach Richt but the video I was watching ended before the EE and Coaches were questioned.

I saw Shaq's interview. Seemed like a very thoughtful and well-spoken young man. You must be very proud of him.

Yeah, I am the father of a 14-year old boy and a seven-year old boy. And watching that interview, I said to myself, "That's what I want my boys to be right there." Respectful, well-spoken, a bit of polish to that young man already. Very impressive. The product of conscientious parents.

When I coached youth football, I would let the person who messed up actually lay back and chill with a cold water bottle while the rest of the team had to do it all over. What that did was allow peer pressure and the team to understand how one person can mess things up for everybody. Trust me any player rather have a ****ed coach than 50 ****ed teammates.

If true, this is a great first step in transitioning the actions of disparate individuals into the focused effort of a team. Quite simply its a force multiplier--just basic military-derived discipline and attention to detail that has only been proven to work without exception over the last 3,000 years...


AWESOME...can't wait to see if this new organizational strategy can translate into a dominant and successful ACC program.

mat drills are done at most CFB programs. Pretty sure they will do them at UTit. They may have a different name and slightly different focus but its all the same. we called our **** county fair.....that **** was no fair

^^^^ um's under golden was caled UTOUGH. Its the same sh*t....

My worst college experience usually occured during winter conditioning, Matt drills or whatever...u called it...i couldnt wait for spring practice to start...

U ninjas dont understand waking up @ 5:30 to go do that sh*t......or going out on a college night on a thursday and having to stay up ..LIT...and watch BET UNCUT, Law and Order, Nick at Nite till practice started. lol...

I did it ...never was last in the pack.....but after my freshman year...i knew to put B.S. classes in the spring..cause i knew after winter conditioning...i didnt feel like doing sh*t the rest of the day.

umm..coach u would of lost the team Coach Philbin style if u did that to me...first time that happened kid would get rocked who messed up?...u coached in s.fla?...

These team drills look way better organized than the previous staff the new ones remind me of morning pe at ft.benning, I love the can't leave no one behind mentality it creates a great bond at the end of it all
