I would guess it depends. You are right a HC would make sense based on his history, but if he just loves the game and doesnt want to deal with all the HC stuff I could see him taking a step back. Especially if winning matters. Ed O doesnt have the cleanest background and after being out of coaching years do you see any top program hiring him? I dont see Bama or Oregon or OSU or UGA going after him... I could see a tier 2 team like Arkansas or Miss State or something and obviously anyone below them like Tulane but doubt you are winning championships there.i dont think he´s interested in a DL position after having won a title as a head coach.
Yea I know. Don’t think no big school will give him a chancei dont think he´s interested in a DL position after having won a title as a head coach.

I doubt that. The sport has actually changed in a way that I believe will make Coach O even more potent. Arkansas, Auburn, VA Tech, Kentucky are a few jobs that I could see being interested in Coach O. He'll kill it at Auburn.

Yeah I don’t think he wants anything serious. Probably an analyst role. Or something along those lines where he can coach but he’s not being given the keys to the kingdom or being held to any real responsibility

$8.5M itchI doubt that. This reminds me of when Bill Parcells coached the Cowboys after his divorce settlement.
