Coach L trash talking Charles Barkley

GREENVILLE, S.C. — After upsetting Auburn basketball in the second round of the NCAA Tournament on Sunday, Miami coach Jim Larranaga opened his press conference by joking that he was motivated by a pledge Charles Barkley made on TV before the game.

Barkley, the NBA Hall of Famer and Auburn legend, said he would celebrate an Auburn win Sunday shirtless.

"Man, no one wants to see that, Chuck," Larranaga said, laughing. He went on to express his respect for Auburn coach Bruce Pearl and the Tigers' program

Larranaga has always had a great sense of humor, and Chuck was classy and gracious with his remarks.

Kenny Smith said that Coach L is his favorite coach for whom he has never played. Pretty high praise from the Jet who is a basketball savant.
