Nothing wrong with 3-4 if you run it right.

Golden ran the Al Groh version which nobody uses anymore.

As of 2015, NFL teams that regularly incorporate the 3–4 defensive alignment scheme as a base include the Cleveland Browns, San Diego Chargers, Green Bay Packers, Baltimore Ravens, Arizona Cardinals, Indianapolis Colts, Kansas City Chiefs, New York Jets, San Francisco 49ers, Pittsburgh Steelers, Washington Redskins, Denver Broncos, Philadelphia Eagles, Tennessee Titans, Houston Texans, and the Chicago Bears, who will be the last team to use the defense on a regular basis.

Denver and Jets are the best defenses in the NFL.

I'm not a fan of Chud as the hire but would still be the best coaching staff since Butch left. It won't take much to get us good again. Just competence. We'd be relevant but would we be great?
 
God I hope it's not Chud. Would be typical and expected tho. BOT like AG won't change and we are crazy to expect anything different.

If it's Chud it's a good thing we moved quickly because teams are beating down his door for his services. Offensive genius he has been called by some posters. Cue Tom cruise....
 
Our simpelton fan base won't understand the CHUD hire until we win the ACC next year and play in a BCS game year #1 .

Well, maybe Butch told them how cheap he'd do it for and they jumped on it? It would get the fans off their back for a while too. Win win situation for them.

Not the sexiest hire but I could live with Chud.

As long as it's not Cristobal or Charlie Strong and the new coach doesn't retain EITHER Coley or D'Onfrio....I'm ok with most of the other names that have been mentioned.

I think Chud has a better personality than another former Browns coach.....Belichick.
