Al Golden's biggestet problem wasn't that he couldn't beat Florida State, it's that the team tanked after losing. UNC got hammered by VT and will be out for blood, Bud Foster has that defense looking like the VT defenses of old, Notre Dame up there is gonna be a war. Anything less than 2-1 and we're back to the same old same old.

Agreed the ability to have a great season is right there. ND and VT are rivalary games that we must win. And UNC will determine if we are still in the conference race. A 1 loss finish would not be the end of the world.
 
Maybe one day a Miami coach will earn his money winning games again
