If you win games they will come.

Recruit first than win, just like fisher saban and other elite coaches. Its rare coaches hit the groung running, miami always needed the players than the wins. Too many local studs left the past ten or so years and its why we are always searching for a coach. Kids dont care about winning unless your really fkin winning like bama then it just makes it easier. We have to show good schemes speed aggression and the staff has to be able to pull. If its about winning why kids went to florida last hear? They sucked n still pulled kids like calloway and scarlett. Recruiting is the most important thing its why the sec is so dominant they recruit the trenches beastly and there defenses are stacked because of players.
You will know by the next signing day if these guys are foreal, when ag took over u saw he coulsnt close which was a huge red flag and it set up failure. Ag thought it would be easy down here but its the hardest area in the country to recruit because everyone sends there best recrhiters down here.
- Mark Richt is one of the elite head coaches in terms of recruiting, he can recruit at an elite level...
-Hartley was known as a really good recruiter at Uga being the Uga recruiting coordinator
-Thomas brown is known as a good recruiter and has a lot of connections in ga.
- Stacy searles is a great coach and ok recruiter
- Mike rumph I assume will be a good recruiter. He has that type of personality to relate to recruits and he is well known in his specific area. On top of that he is a great coach and technician.
- Manny Diaz is known as a really good recruiter, south Florida kids would be lining up to play in his system when they see how agressive it is. Really fits the athletes down in south Florida.
- coach kuligowski is arguably the best dline coach in the country, his players love him, is an okay recruiter as well. Doesn't matter who signs with him he develops monsters
Miami really needs another elite recruiter on the staff IMO. That's why I say richt should try and hire Mario Cristobal to coach the te and be the other co offensive coordinator. At receiver position we should hire one of Kevin beard, George McDonald, trooper Taylor, Lamar Thomas, receiver coach at Texas a&m or lsu old receiver coach to complete the staff
I'm pretty sure the recruiting coordinator is NOT ALLOWED to personally recruit so how would you know Hartley is a good recruiter?

It is absolutely mind blowing that people think all you have to do in college football is lineup "5 stars" and your team will win.
It is particularly mind blowing that anyone thinks that Saban wins simply because of recruiting. Whatever your personal feelings are about him, Saban is an all time great coach. Coaching encompasses so many things and Saban excels at most of them: organization, film study, hiring staff (both coaching and support), motivation of players, defensive scheming, etc... What makes Saban great is being able to use the talent he and his staff recruits.
Furthermore, Alabama in general wins because the talent is coached up. The coaching staff is great at Alabama. Be it position coaches teaching players the skills/fundamentals of their position to the coordinators putting together the X and O gameplans. You very rarely see Alabama players be out of position, taking poor angles, not using proper leverage when blocking, etc... They are so technically sound because of superior coaching.
Give Al Golden and last years Miami staff Alabama's roster and I would bet my house they'd lose 3-4 games. Talent can only take you so far but to win at the elite level you must have great coaching and that is exactly what Alabama has right now - a great coaching staff. I feel gross typing all this crap about Alabama but I find it unbelievable that people think their key to success is simply trotting out more talented players than their opponent.
Can someone tell me where it's been reported that Richt or his son will coach QB and Diaz will coach LB?
I see this all over yet there's been nothing reported. If Diaz was going to coach LB too why not announce it when he was announced as DC?
At receiver position we should hire trooper Taylor
