CMR is just another step in the process

You sir should never mention coach richt and that penn disgrace moron in the same breath, you seem like you know football, people act as if coach richt was a failure at UGA. I'm not sure how long you been watching football, but coach richt is one of winningest coaches in college football history, and he didnt do it in a cupcake conference. About the only thing he didnt do was win a national championship. You bring up the last moron regime, when this team was in the top 10 back than, everybody knew it was a fraud cause the defense was never legitimate, which is what real Miami Hurricanes football is all about, this defense under the leadership of coach richt in less than 3yrs is and has been legitimate, that's step one, because immediately going back to the 4-3 now allows us to get back to recruiting the type of athlete's that belong here on defense. Step 2, recruiting is all the way back where it should be, and winning 10gms straight last yr, and the wisconsin game we win if the refs call the game right, but instead to even things out they allowed wisconsin to hold all night on offense and defense. Yeah we lost to UVA, we had several chances to squeeze out a victory, offensively right now we playing alot of j.v. players, so against the more physically matur teams, its gone be a dog fight. This is the one year where we cant afford to turn the ball over on offense, with the turnovers this team could actually be undefeated right now. No Ahmon, No legitimate o-line, young receivers scattered all over the place including jeff thomas, True freshman tight-ends and a below avg passer, only so much you can do this year. People screaming for perry dont realize how much he doesnt know, this is and rpo, d-co's know perry does not keep/pull the ball and run it, so the linebackers have one less key to read.

If you are going to compare coach richt to anybody, you might want mention him more in the bobby bowden mode, it took ole bobby 17yrs at Fsu to win his first national title and 23yrs to get the next one. But real Miami fans know bobby would've had more championships if not for us, same with barry switzer. When coach richt was at UGA, oscar cryer was coaching the gaytorsss for about 6 of those years, the gaytors were already dominating UGA and alot of the sec when spurrier was their, so when coach richt took over in 2000, he had to build that program, than saban comes in in 2007 to a program that shula left in strong shape recruiting wise, so by the time coach richt got UGA competitive, he was going up against those 2, which he's only been a play or 2 for playing for the national championship while at UGA.

And Truth be told, if we had Ahmon, herdon and walton healthy last yr to finish the season, we had an 85% chance of getting in the playoffs, and if braad kaaya and njoku had stayed, we would've definitely had enuff to win it all last year, so this coaching staff has already proven what it can do with talent, people really dont know how close we were to #6 if those things took place, braad definitely made the worst decision, njoku made a smart move.

Once coach richt get those type of weapons here again with the strong o-line that's being built, we'll be straight, this 2019 class will be the big piece to the puzzle if all goes according to plan, meaning neal, tarquin, eguak, hasslewood to go with payton(who i think is the better of the 2, tyrique, bogle, richards, weaver, this team is very talented now, just alot of immature talent, but watch the development, coach richt knows what he's doing. People acting as if kirby smart is a better coach than coach richt, time will tell.
"this defense under the leadership of coach richt in less than 3yrs is and has been legitimate, that's step one, because immediately going back to the 4-3 now allows us to get back to recruiting the type of athlete's that belong here on defense".

I love your passion for this coaching staff and Mark Richt!! But I just can't share the same! For one, Richt has little to do with Diaz's defense beside getting fortunate enough to pull the trigger to hire Diaz! Richt could be a great coach here IMO If he get out of the way of insisting on coaching and calling plays on OF. Richt can bring all the top talent he wants, if he runs the leather helmet offense it will not matter if he has a sqad full of 5 star studds, it will not work!!

The defense became a hot item because the scheme now fit the players being recruited!! Same guys basically on defense from Golden and coach NoD! The approach changed and in 2 years they are the top defense in all of college football!! Now the script is flipped!! The sad offense is now in the dumper because of the arrogance of father time refusing to admit his play calling days are up!! If he doesn't change by getting a true up and coming innovative mind OC, his fate will be the same as arrogant Al Golden for refusing to fire his buddie!

Except for last year, Richt’s recruiting really isn’t that much better than Golden’s.

Come on man, i can tell you are reasonable, let's be real, who hired this coaching staff, so for people to try and not give coach richt credit for a part of the team is not being real. Coach diaz never coordinated a top defense nowhere prior to coming here, not even a top 15 or 20 defense, coach richt hired coach rumph, banda, and when alot of people for some reason kept up this false praise of coach kool being "the best d-line coach" was always comical to me, cause i kept trying to figure out where they get that from, our d-lines under him were trash against the run, and that's proven by how many backs rushed for over 100yrds against us under him, than when you add his weak recruiting on top of that coach richt brought those things to his attention, so he dipped out. Alot of people panicking because of the false hype about coach kool, he leaves now you got alot of people who thinking they know who coach richt should hire, like they doing now with the oc list. But here's why i respect coach richt, he's his own man, what does he do, goes out and hires his own d-line coach not on none of the list and i said/posted this back during spring practices once i saw jess simpson coaching and the techniques he was stressing, i said this defense will be alot better this year cause we will be a better run stopping team, we may go down in sacks but overall we will be a better defense as well as a better 3rd down defense because of jess simpson. So coach richt goes out and hires a better d-line coach, which should let people know once again and several times over, he has way better judgement than they think they have.

It was well known coach kool was braylen ingrahms guy, which is why he chose Bama, but in my opinion, he went with the lesser coach but more established program currently, which is not a bad move, but had he come here, he would've been able to standout like a gw3. Instead he's going to a program that is just going to fatten him up, lose alot of his athleticism, and possibly burn out quicker if he makes it to the nfl like alot of Bama players do.

Off subject, but just like gumbo fisher with qb's, he can sell to any recruit his college qb resume, its somewhat impressive in foresight, when you bring up the heisman qb's he coached, and the 1st rd qb's drafted, i think 2 heisman qb's to be the top picks in the nfl draft, but after that, they get their and look like trash or career journey man back-ups. I dont know of one good nfl qb starter that came up under coach fisher, you'd think at least one of them would be by now, but no doubt, he'll get you drafted high, but more than likely you'll be in the qb "Bust" category.

At least with coach richt, his qb's develop, and he has several offensive guys in the nfl doing work which means his system translates, qb, wr, runningback and o-line. When he mentioned execution as being the problem, he telling the Truth, if you dont know by now coach richt is basically a straight shooter, when messes up he says it, but guys were open and plays are their to be made now and in the future. People acting like coach richt hiring his son is a problem need to get real. With the qb's being young and no established o-line to play behind like the majority of the other young qb's across college football has, jon is not the problem.

This program is right where it should be based on where the talent is, again, people acti g as if coach richt took this program cause butch davis went to the nfl. Im all about us winning, nobody wants UM to win worst than me, but in reality, who wants to see us get to the acc championship game with a worst offense than last year. To be clear, this offense is worse healthier than the banged up and injury riddled offense that played last year, we to young and weak to be physical, the offense coach richt is running is not the problem.
