CMR coach of the year

You wouldn't know it from a couple of the fans on this site. Some folks complaining about him being fired for good reason and then piling onto Manny. It's like some fans haven't been watching the Canes for the last 12 years.
 
Congratulations to CMR! Well deserved. How many of us would have predicted 10-2 with wins over FSU, Va Tech and ND at the end of last year with Kaaya needing to be replaced, Richards less than 100% and if we had known that Mark Walton would be lost early for the year? He did a great job with the tools he had.

A couple more years of elite recruiting will make us deeper at many positions and better able to withstand the loss of key players. That & much better special teams coaching will determine CMR's ceiling (which should be national titles).
 
The purpose of this board is to allow different views on our coach & different views on where our program is headed - lets make sure that continues

HOWEVER - if you look at how outsiders and I would ague experts view our coach - they would argue we are blessed to have Coach leading on our program

Good job, coach! I believe in this man wholeheartedly. We will make the playoff next year under his leadership.

Losing Walton early
Richards really hampered all year with an injury

It’s actually impressive we went 10-2 and a game away from the playoffs.
 
He has done a terrific job I totally believe he is the right man at the right time for this program however........he is a very stubborn man as many successful men are. IMO in order to get us to consistent top 10 level of play he needs help with the offense. Doesn't make him a bad guy and its just my opinion. I am routing for him but am still ****ed off about the offensive game plan or lack of last Saturday. It took the ND game in 2016 to get him to change the offense and I'm hoping the Clemson game will have the same effect
 
Replacing Kaaya was the biggest factor in getting us to 10 wins. Now we need to find the right guy to get us to 12 wins.

Congrats Coach! You were able to squeeze every ounce of talent out of Rosier, looks like that well has run super dry. Great season!! Glad to have you

An award totally deserved with what he had to work with
