I missed the conference call this afternoon at work. Did anyone on here sit in on the conference call? If so, any highlights?
I saw a few things posted on FB. He said his staff had already game planned for 3 opponentsand specifically mentioned FSU’s new offense and defense. Also said the OL will look much better in this offense, and also mentioned the coaches being very happy with TVDs first 4 days. He mentioned Greg Rousseau and said he needs to get better against the run. Says he thinks the defense depended on Shaq too much for leadership last year and expects multiple people to step up this year. Also made the comment he thinks 2020 will be a special year to be in attendance.

Happens every year but I’m buying into the hype. I’ve been content with Manny’s approach on defense (just want to see more from the players), and am also happy with his commitment to overhauling the offense and going spread. Him bringing 3 former spread OCs in is a lot more reassuring than Dan Enos and his hand picked crew. Just replacing Baxa alone would have won us a few more games last year, and I’m happy about the future of our special teams players at the moment. This is why it doesn't matter what QB and OC was brought in......Manny is still the same rotten fuqin BS artist masquerading as a HC
Haven’t heard that one before. Hope it’s true.He also said he expects Mark Pope to be one of the biggest improvements in the new offense.
Now hopefully Patke, Baker, and Rumph go if the d isn’t up to par and their recruiting blows this year.Manny decided to actually do something and we have 1 coach in Likens whos legit and assume knows his ****, Justice was a former HC and studied under a great OL coach in Tricket and we have Lashlee who coached at a big school and under 2 coaches who are pretty solid
What a difference from the previous offensive staff

Yea Patke and Rumph overstayed their welcomes here. If we don’t see improvements from Baker then he needs to go.I'd give Baker this year honestly, he called some decent games last year and the defense collapsed in the 4q of some games FIU/Duke strictly because the offense was useless. 14 points in the 4Q against FIU, 14 points in the 4Q against Duke.
UNC game was something weird. Terrible first 10 minutes, domination the next 45 minutes, and then the collapse on 4th and 17.
VT game was another cluster ****
GT the defense gave up 7 in regulation, another game the offense ****ed up
LT defense was good
He can only get better and he's at least admitted he needs to fix his ****
Patke is useless, have him as an analyst or some ****
Rumph is who he is
