Closer look at NC's Air Raid

guys don't do it to yourselves, its a road ACC division game. expecting a blowout will just ruin your experience, it may happen, but until proven otherwise, our history in the ACC says it wont

our best team in the last 12 years (2017) barely won at NC, and lost at Pitt
We opened up a 24-6 3rd quarter lead at a terrible, depleted UNC two years ago...and still couldn't close the door.

As you said, until proven otherwise...

The constant down talking on Amari Carter is gonna need to come to an end this season.

He played 56 snaps the 3rd most of anyone on Defense & arguably had the 2nd best performance behind Bandy.

This slander of AC5 is honestly ridiculous, go rewatch the game our Secondary did a great job, we didn't lose the game because of them, we lost because our Offense is still sh*t & can't do basic fundamentals like blocking, catching & passing on time.

Amari Carter is going to be a starter ALL year & he's going to break out his Junior year just like Jaquan, Rome Finley & Redwine all did their Junior seasons. Hate to break it to yall, but Bolden is not replacing him at all.

The duo of Amari & Gurvan will be fine, yall over exaggerate these narratives about players way too much.
I get you are a carter fan but he is limited in coverage. Amari seems much better playing the short underneath zones. Jamal carter wasn't a great cover guy either and he was more athletic than amari. But jamal had a solid sr season in this defense and think he led the team in tackles.

The formation they showed for blitz protection is illegal. Not enough players on the line.

Yeah. Guys are gone with the wind if they think Gurv is contact shy.

And anyone expecting a Safety in this defense to be incredible in his first real game action is nuts. You analysts need to relax a bit.

I remember watching Ed Reed struggle early in his career Booch even benched him. Reed retired as a top 5 Safety in the history of the game.

UM fans mocked a young Brandon Meriweather for two years for getting trucked by Otis Wilson who outweighed him by 40 pounds.

No one hates our players more than our fans.
People were complaining about jaquan his first few games starting. Saying he was too slow and he was over hyped. That same year he ended up a all american.

Same **** the Cardinals run and will get exposed, u cant run 4 verts and slants all day if u dont have a talent advantage.......If we lose to these scrubs man.

Crush the QB
I agree. True freshman QB, I think he can run, but he's not a major threat, and his oline is not every good. You go after him and destroy his confidence from the first series. It's not like UF where we had to be extra careful of the QB's running ability and the team's power running game.

Didn't Saban land his helicopter in Garvan's schoolyard trying to secure a commitment for him and now, since he is a Cane our fans are questioning his abilities already?
Yeah, bro. I believe Hall transferred to Lakes from Gardens. If I am right about that, then he used to roam the same defensive backfield with...

Amari Carter

@Dr.L.ThugU has been bragging to me about their fat, freshman qb.

A note on Ivey: It was said on a Rivals podcast last night that Ivey took some medication given to him for a dental procedure without checking with the staff. There was some Ingredient to the meds that caused him to fail a subsequent urine test. It was a hard lesson to him and the rest of the kids about something innocent. Compliance was involved which is why it was out of Manny’s hands.

Just sharing the report....

I don’t really worry about our defense against spread teams. It’s the power teams that really cause us problems like Wisconsin x2 And Boston college. Manny and baker have to figure out why we struggle with those kind of offenses.
I think it's built in, to an extent, into the 4-3 slide. I think what we're running is an evolution of that basic Jimmy Johnson defense. There are certain running offenses that have seemed to give us trouble. Remember Pitt and Ironhead Hayward in '86. Our defense, on the other hand eats up dropback passers and teams that try to run wide.

I said it before, Amari doesn’t have coverage instincts and should be a striker. Bubba will take that job by October. I’m praying Gurvan had the jitters because was not good and seemed not to love contact
Agreed I know people may think I'm crazy but I wonder if he'd make a good LB
