If the NFL refers some of these financial managaers then the NFL should bear some of the responsibility when these ******** steal these player's money. Also, nflpa and all players unions should negotiate to have a percentage of all player's salaries deferred and invested and only accessible after retirement or after no longer playing.
lastly, player's gotta be smarter with their money. I can understand blowing through your first few pay days if you've never had access to that kind of weakth but at some point you've gotta keep an eye on your money and educate yourself on money management.
