Clemson writer trashes miami

Nah, I don’t get upset at hicks trying to sound cool. He’s definitely creative at writing, especially when he gulps down that Ten High Blended Bourbon Whiskey.

He makes one point very well, people want to be THE U. He left out something of interest. I don't think about Clemson much but the last time they won a NC was in 1981 in the OB against NE. That I remember because I spent a night with two Clemson cheerleaders. Two years later THE U was born on the same field against the same NE. Now some 35 years later Clemson has finally won a second NC as a bookend to the bookshelf full of 5 Miami NCs. Two years helped get rid of the last road block to out return and here we stand ready to take over our reign again.

I never realize Clemson had a tie in to THE U. We had a corning sort of classy coach back then also and ever since that fsu game I've thought this team reminded me of that 83 team that started it all. I married a USCe cheerleader in 82 (I like cheerleaders) and now I understand why she hates Clemson so much. What smucks. To dare to think themselves US after one last second play against real team to win you second NC in almost 40 years is insulting. Now I really do want to dismantle them.
 
I think what I took away from the writing was the wrong assumption that we are the best of the worst of the coastal. This is actually the first year that I can remember that someone wasn't falling forward to win the coastal. I know this bc even when we sucked, we always had an opportunity to win it. We straight up took it this year.

Kind of similar, dabos press conference was all tongue in cheek fluff if you ask me. However, he made a few points that were strange, like he really hadn't seen us play. He knew everyone's number, but he didn't know as much as he should (or that he let on). I'm sure he's still flushing stuff out, but of they think they are gonna just walk in and roll, then expect a massive Clemdump.

If you "write" for SB Nation and you have a handle (Drewtigeralum) instead of an adult name—news flash, you're not a "writer". You're a hack that thinks they're a writer, gets a lot of pats on the back via your team's message board and someone reached out to you to cover the team for no pay ("We'll give you exposure!!!)—as that site needs eyeballs and free content.
