Clemson Week Player Media: Cam McCormack, Anez Cooper, KJ Cloyd & Daryl Porter

Porter has been lockdown this season. Really hope we can find alternatives to Couch and Davis but theyll probably be fine outside Lou and FSU on the schedule. Clemson's FR WR is good so he should shadow him all game.

Everytime I see Cloyd....All I can think of the GT running back doin him dirty...Really hope the young LBs are ready soon

He seems to be better suited for blocking in addition to being a TE. I have no doubt he’ll be playing Sundays, somewhere. He’s got the mental fortitude for sure.
The real issue is we don’t know if our TE’s can catch because they’ve barely been targeted for whatever reason/s.

This is where I personally do not think Dawson is the long term answer. To beat a dead horse, that run call vs. a kneel, the lack of creativity in the run game, and TVD’s lack of progression on his reads tell me something. And I’m Not even football-nuances savvy.

Sure raises a lot of questions. Especially on CIS.

I agree there is room for improvement from Dawson. I wanna see how the season finishes out. But more creativity in both run and pass plays, and getting our playmakers in space Is definitely needed.

The defensive meltdowns and coverage busts are probably my biggest concern.

Both Coordinators need to be better in the second half… they’ve been getting their lunch money taken by the opposition

He has this offense performing at the highest level the university has seen in 20 years and people don't think he's the long term answer.

For once we arrived in the 21st century and people post this.

I'm just...

Do not disagree with “highest…in 20 years.” However, is this the level that gets us to compete regularly? GT and NC already figured out his scheme, and he did not counter that adjustment. I’d love to be wrong. Time will tell. Correct me when you feel it’s appropriate.

True but he also made a great, head-on stop against UNC last weekend
Yeah all things considered he’s given us more good snaps this year than I expected. He’s got some skills

Linebackers as a unit still not where we need to be but they’ve been about 5000% better than last year

I wonder whats the expectation from this team? Cause right now, we have an offensive turnaround that is pretty rare in College Football.
