The atmosphere in that stadium is great. I attended the South Carolina/Arkansas game in early October. Very impressed with the tailgating and the fans. Miami was playing Florida State simultaneous to their game so I wore Canes gear to the game. Some of their fans kidded me about being confused, but after we got beyond that they were all telling me they were rooting for Miami against Florida State. South Carolina won by blowout so late in the game their fans were sitting alongside me as I sweated out the Miami outcome. They shook my hand when it ended, and wished us well the remainder of the season.

Darius Rucker even stopped me outside the stadium and pulled on my Canes shirt, saying, "They better win today." Then we had a brief chat about the Canes game. I had no idea who he was, just that he had loads of people following him and taking selfies alongside him. I asked some guy who that was and he said Darius Rucker. That meant squat to me until I see the same guy walk out there a half hour later to sing the national anthem.
