He is a really good wr but we did nothing to take him away, free releases, no brackets, no trap coverages, straight up double team would have worked.. We let him go off as the single passing weapon they targeted. That really soured from a defensive perspective..
Played off coverage on him most of the game too. Worst performance by Heatherman of the season.

I was convinced that he was the best WR out there. That is now looking more questionable.

This is a legit joke of a scheddy.
they were saying hes the best WR not named Jeremiah Smith post game. now hes just ordinary.

Ive mentioned many a time here that the ACC referees will direct the outcome of games in an effort to get as many bowl eligible teams as possible. The example I always give is a 9-2 team playing a 5-6 team in the final week. They will officiate the game to ensure that 5-6 team gets the win and bowl eligibility.

Look at what we saw last night. Clemson has to win out to be bowl eligible. The ACC was not going to let Louisville win that game, short of blowing Clemson out.

Except, of course, that they gave Louisville a free touchdown on an obvious fumble. But that ruins a fun conspiracy theory.

Solid theory. So...what's more valuable for the ACC NC State being bowl eligible today or Miami winning and inching closer to a playoff berth?

Maybe they just suck? Other than an obvious bias against Miami with some crews, I’ve seen ACC refs make awful calls or non calls against both sides too often to believe there’s a conspiracy.

We lost because our QB threw 4 interceptions. But I get the need for a mob mentality that doesn't actually break down games.
Who got the qb? Who hired the OC who sucks *** who cant do **** to help Beck? Who is directly in charge of the offensive line which got their **** pushed in? 63 yards on 24 carries...all up the middle btw. Who has the biggest budget in the ACC by far? Who has the highest rated recruiting class 4 years in a row in the ACC (highest by far)? Who has top 2-3 portal classes per year in the ACC? Who has a top 5 budget to pkay with NATIONALLY?

You're a complete ******* moron and as ive said before, you know jack **** about football. You can't see the big picture whatsoever, **** you can't even see what's going on in this specific game. Good coaches don't ram their head into the wall over and over sldoing the same ****, any coach worth of **** wins that game 10/10 times.

Yeah, it must just be bad luck that Mario leads the nation in losses as a double digit favorite, had the lowest peak of any Oregon coach this century, has never won the ACC, and needs an expanded field to even have an outside chance at his first career CFP bid.

Poor Mario.

Wouldn't Willie Taggart's 7-5 record at Oregon be that program's lowest point this century?

Mario is far from perfect, but he's on the verge (needs to go 3-0 to finish the season) of Miami's first back-to-back 10-win seasons in 22 years. Does he get any credit for stabilizing the program and raising the program's floor?

Right, the same old message board cliches. "wHo reCruiTed hIm???" We get it, there is no such thing as player accountability.

The fact that this causes you to make it personal and toss out insults like that is a reflection of your character and intellect.
