Diaz is a better game day coach and better at picking a staff (if I am not mistaken- Blake Baker is the interim HC at LSU and of course, Lashlee). So that’s a HC and an interim HC for a dude who has only been coaching for a handful of years. Have any of Cristobal’s hires gone on to P4 HC jobs?

Cristobal is obviously the much, much better recruiter between the two. However- Diaz could potentially hire better recruiters and close the gap somewhat, whereas I don’t know if anything will ever change Cristobal’s game management.

I hope you know that if you watched that game, you may have been part of history. That’s some of the worst football anyone can ever watch. If you’ve ever had the chance to play or watch junior high football, this was worse.
