Their schedule is cake rest of the way.

They basically claimed 1 spot in ACC title game, while Miami, FSU, Lville, Clemson, SMU, and Pittsburgh fighting for the other spot.

GT is so uncomfortable to play against. Speed everywhere on the field and they play fundamentally sound.

During warmups King was being interviewed by Gameday. He was asked where he got his grit. He said his Dad said he was a puzsy. Said he was too soft to play football for Longview HS. He said he guessed he proved him wrong. I believe his Dad was his HS football coach. He sure is a tough college football player.

I hear ya.

I’m just not a believer in the “I played there so I have to coach there” idea. Same reasoning everyone seems to think Dabo is a coaching waiting for Alabama.

Mario bleeds orange and green, but I don’t think he would’ve left Oregon had Miami not made huge financial commitment to the program.

We’ll see what happens with conference realignment and the ACC. I can see Georgia Tech admitted to the SEC or maybe Big 10. But if Georgia Tech is on the outside looking in and Alabama or a major P2 makes a change and offers Keys…who knows.

I remember when a 45 yarder was a long kick.

Now you see these 55+ kicks every week almost.

In the NFL too.

**** they have HS kids hitting from 55-60 .One guy in the NFL hit one from 67 last week that would have been good from 70-75…pretty soon they will be kicking FGs from mid field.Only deterrent is that if you miss you lose the field position but these kickers are so accurate nowadays they hardly miss…..especially the ones that play us….they never miss from ANY distance….

Key is exactly the kind of coach I would look for if I’m a big time P4. Does more with less. Team is tougher than a 2 dollar steak. Give him better talent and he would be a household name.

Love it, everyone who penciled in Clemson winning the ACC and in the playoffs during the preseason. Two losses in 3 weeks

They were overranked to start, plus today they were missing 3 key players. Against a scrappy GT that's a recipe for disaster.

Klubnik's Heisman hopes took a big hit. More opportunity for Beck to move up in the conversation. Haynes King also deserves some consideration the way he's carrying that team
