Clemson v Golden’s Domers

I hope all the Foldenites who still permeate within this fanbase gets a severe case of heartburn...

Repeatedly.

I can guarantee you they’re going to be in the top 25. There’s no doubt about it.
ND was ranked #9 when they lost to OSU. Only dropped 2 spots. Should have been more. OSU is a very good team, but it's ridiculous ND only moved 2 spots.

ND beat Duke the next week and moved up to #10 for their matchup with Louisville. They lost convincingly to Louisville and dropped 11 spots. Now at #21 That loss to Louisville should have knocked them out of the top 25, but it didn't.

ND then beat USC and Pitt and moved up to #15 for today's game against Clemson. Close game against a very mediocre Clemson team. However, the powers that be will not think that same way. Probably drop ND 8-9 spots, although ND should not be sniffing the top 30

My guess is anywhere between 22 and 25. They’re going to think to themselves “well Clemson might be 4–4, but they’re still a talented team and it was at Clemson’s house.“ I hope I’m wrong because I hate Notre Dame.

This is how bad the bias and love fest for Notre Dame is.

Alabama was ranked #3 when they lost to a highly ranked and talented Texas team at home. Bama, who the polls adore, dropped 7 spots after that game. I personally felt that Bama should have dropped to the #15-18 range.

ND ranked #9 when they lost to a highly ranked and talented OSU team at home. ND only drops 2 spots? What?

The polls may love Bama and the SEC (and they absolutely do), but they will always love ND more.
