I watched most of the conference championship games, and I did not see one team outright struggle with OL and QB play like us. Most of those teams executed well and came into their game prepared - not sloppy and shell-shocked like we did against LSU.

That's coaching ladies and gentlemen, and we just don't have it. You can say all you want about the talent on our roster (or lack thereof) and our youth, but our team simply has not been coached up and prepared to take the field the way they deserve.

Our &hit staff has failed this team, and that all comes back to Mark 'I Need 65 5 Stars In Order To Beat Duke' Richt.
 
It would be nice if Miami players could actually start staying for their senior seasons instead of leaving early to be a fourth round pick in arena football. Get that money yo!
 
When us and fsu figure things out that'll never happen again. Their success is a product of the two FL teams being out of sorts nothing more.

You're right,, even Northwestern put up a good scrap.
They just ran out of depth..
 
Richt watched yesterdays conference championship games completely embarrassed at how his own team compares to the elite.

Who am I kidding, he was probably zooted out of his mind after popping a Xanax, staring dreamily into space with a grin on his face.
 
Clemson loses 22 seniors + 2-5 juniors to the NFL. Next year, Richt needs to get the offense humming to the tune of 40+ points per game. It will be our best shot at beating Clemson if we can get to the ACC Championship game.

When my wife is out of town it's my best chance to bed a Victoria's Secret model. Doesn't mean there's any chance it's going to happen.

I've lived through Howard, JJ, Erickson, Butch, Coker, Shannon, and Golden. Considering roster talent and schedule, 2018 was probably the worst coached season of tackle football for the Miami Hurricanes in my lifetime.

I get your point it would be nice if this was Miami. But why should it be Miami ? We have not had the leadership to build this type of machine in almost 20 years. When we have leadership we can then tap the recruiting base and talk about our rich history... which might start another long run of successs.

Difference is their seniors stayed. Our would be seniors bounced.
Imagine this team had some of our key players stayed until their final years starting with Kaaya, Njoku, Yearby. We could of possibly beaten Clemson last year.
And let's not forget our key players that had the seasons cut short due to injuries Walton, Young, Richards.
We lost season changing talent the last 2 season and it reflected on this season.

You can ***** all you want about the coaching but the truth is had Dabo suffered these kind of early defections and career ending injuries they wouldn't have had the success they are having now. Truth

****. I want to argue and say that you are being a bit egregious, but damnit you are spot on. I'm 46 and watched my first Canes game back in 1980 under Howard. And to your point even during the lean times, I've never seen us a unprepared as we were this past season.

Let's think about this: We had problems with punting, blocking, passing, catching and fumbling. That's about as bad as it gets. This team was not prepared, and that was on the coaches.
