31-10 clemson

Next year will be a redefining year for this team with possibly a new QB and many of the freshman class playing significant roles including RB and TE where we are seriously thin.
 
Heart- 31-14 Canes. Canes come out energized and focused and play like mad dogs after the loss to Pitt and everyone picking Clemson

Head - 35-17 Clemson. Our inability to run the ball, horrible 3rd conversions, and again poor punting become glaring obvious against the most talented team we've seen in the Richt era.
 
I just have a sneaking suspicion this is going to be like the Notre Dame game, they're so similar to Clemson, just with lesser athletes. But scheme wise they play nearly the same game.

I'm just not seeing a way our season long shortcomings get us by Clemson, no run game, no Herndon, poor special teams play, terrible 3rd down conversion equals...

I can understand how some folks could believe Clemson will win, but I don't understand how some of you losers think that Clemson is going to score 35+ on us. The only way that happens is if they get a bunch of TOs on us and maybe take one or two to the house.

I don't see our defense giving up more than 27 max. I think the magic number for us to win this game is around 24. If we score 24 or more points I think we will win.

how many did Pitt score? it's reasonable that a better offense and team can score more than them against us

Our D has played well against Dual Threat QB's this year. That being said, Bryant is the most talented DT QB's they will face all year. The key will be to contain him in the pocket as much as possible and make him throw.

He's no better than Eric Dungey.
