Few teams have stopped TL. 15 for 15 isn't the issue, it's a senior d lineman lining up offsides when you could have made a big defensive stop and an experienced DB making unbelievably dumb decisions. That's just atrocious preparation by the coaches. Each player should have his own checklist. A DL lining up offsides is absolutely inexplicable. The ball is literally right there in front of him. I am almost certain Carter saw TL running and was thinking "kill shot" because he has an extremely low football IQ, when he should have been fully aware that the refs are going to protecting TL.

It was the same as every "big" game over the last 10+ years: offense gets pushed around by guys who are stronger and react faster. Defense is hyped up and overpursuing everything early. Backbreaking penalties on crucial downs.

This is one of the better teams we've had in recent years and it doesn't matter a bit. Just outmatched, Clemson was superior from the beginning. Trevor Lawrence is a ***** though, can't wait until he's on a bad NFL team where he doesn't have superior talent and gameplans every week.

I get that lawrence is a baller, but those first two drives were a carbon copy of the 2017 acc championship game. This is coming off a bye as well. I was just amazed at what I was seeing.

That's not all. On the VERY NEXT PLAY, Nesta lines up offsides with the ball right under his ******* nose.

We have the dumbest collection of players and coaches.

You couldn't script a worse performance. Sure there was some nice "effort" stuff from a few guys, but that's just cope talking.

This was worse than simply getting blown out. We were trapped in the sunken place once Roche got flagged for being offsides.

I watched UVA move the ball almost at will against these guys last week and we couldn't muster first downs.

This was the gameplan our brain trust of coaches came up with on a ******* bye week. AGAIN.

We've stomped 3 unranked teams and have another excellent recruiting class coming in.

There's levels to this ****, but some of you guys don't understand subtlety.

We did blow out 3 unranked, irrelevant teams. That’s correct. That’s an improvement from losing to those teams in the past. I agree

Losing 42-17 leaves you confident that we’re gonna win out? Virginia played them tougher, are they gonna win out also? Come on man, how many seasons of the same underachieving do you have to see from this program before you stop getting fooled by early season hype? I fell for it for a while, but you know the old saying: fool me once, shame on you; fool me 2,368 times, shame on me.

Honestly we had DL lining up offsides **** near all game...it was infuriating me because they actually havent done it all year

Its some young guys on defense that have flashed so far that im extremly happy about.

Got**** Keontra Smith, JHH, Brooks are coming along. Frierson is improving.

My guy Balom(Miramar) has shown that atleast he is playable and its really early for him
 
Our 3-0 record has been deceiving. I commented I didn’t like our effort against UAB. The final score said 31-14, but what I saw was a bend don’t and don’t break defense that didn’t get punched in its mouth, only the body.
UL was moving on this defense too, but UL’s def is putrid & the big, broken plays got them.
FSU is str8 dog chit, and we celebrated like we just beat the #1 team in the nation.

Well Clemson punched us square in our mouth, and unlike the aforementioned teams, they weren’t undisciplined so we couldn’t fight back.

That’s OK; now, we gotta show this was one loss, tighten chit up, and come out next week and fight back. If we lose back to back games, I’m going to assume we haven’t learned chit from last season.

Our offense was a total dumpster fire and the game wasn’t over till the beginning of the 4th quarter.

I think most rational people will agree both that Lashlee got punched in the mouth tonight (in addition to the fact that King’s was off) AND Lashlee is a good coach who will get back up off the mat and get better.

He’s athletic enough. Couch too. He will improve. We really just need to 2018 class the get the **** out of here.

King wasn’t off. He’s not a great passer and has trash wrs

You were amazed????? LOL By what exactly? Did you forget Baker is the DC? I knew we would come out soft because that's their philosophy. Just like his boss, Baker is too much of a chicken **** to bring it from the get go. Once were in a 21-3 hole then he makes adjustments.

Looking at the offensive performance I wasn't surprised. Yeah I thought we might have moved the ball a bit better and put some points up but I knew our OL was going to get its **** pushed in.
