It's hard to get the kind of DB's Bama has when recruits keep ditching us to go be backups at Bama.

Our DBs were getting torched against Wisconsin and we had a pretty rough time attempting to slow Clemson. Our defense is not as Dominant as many of us thought them to be. There is a significant difference in the talent level between Bama front 7 and ours. It wasn't even about the Bama DBs as much as it was their players flying around like madmen looking to kill anything in sight and str8 u dominating the man across from them. Now I'll leave it at that because this isn't a slurp Bama post but I'm simply stating that there is a noticable difference between the talent levels on the two defenses. I believe we are on the right path but this year we just didn't have enough guys who could impose their will on the guy across from them consistently throughout the year.

Great summary. Our defenders have a South Florida mentality. Sleek and athletic and eager to celebrate the next turnover or stop. Alabama is wide shouldered aggressive savagery.

Folks hype up Jackson and Young but to be honest those guys are 2nd stringers at other Power 5 schools. They balled against avergae recievers and qb's but struggled as the competition got tougher the last three games. Hopefully there are two to three more Bandys in this class.
