Everyone is acting like playing an 11-1 Clemson next week is a done deal, but these guys might very well lose today, which would close the door at any shot we have at making the playoffs. They’re playing in a testy rivalry game today and it’s on the road.

A 10-2 Clemson means the ACC would be left out of the top 4, no matter who wins the ACC championship game.

Wrong. You guys are battered women.
 
According to the 538 model thing, Miami winning against a Clemson that beats SCe is 89% likely to be in playoff, if Clemson loses its 84%. That’s the raw estimate without factoring any other games. Ideally Clemson wins but it’s just a moderate effect. Yes I know it’s a committee not computers, but their model is built to simulate past committee decisions and used data points run thousands of times to come up with their projection.

the biggest hurdle is not all these what ifs, it’s UM GETTING ITS **** TOGETHER NEXT WEEK

next most helpful thing is Alabama winning out
 
The only thing you can control is effort. Show up against Clemson and win. The rest is up to the committee.

How does a one loss winner of the second toughest conference in college football get left out of the playoffs? Oh yeah, they don't. Stop with this bull**** already! This is a playoff play-in game for us period!
 
Very close friend of mine is a SC booster. From his perspective the SC offense is pretty anemic. The 2 games the scored in the 40's were helped by 2 pic six, and 2 KO returns for TD's.
CLemson should win by at least 20
