So he's out of this world? It's the freaking day in age and what the rules allow today. Burrow is more likely to be a bust a than pro bowler.I have to agree. The kid was just on a level that I didn't think was possible. The really weird thing is that I had a friend of mine remark during the 4th quarter of the game that Burrow wasn't having a great game. I asked him what the heck his criteria is for having a great game. Burrow was 31-49 463 yards 5 TDs with No Ints and added 58 yards on 14 carries on the ground with 1 TD. Burrow accounted for 521 scrimmage yards and 6 TDs with No turnovers. No that is not a great game. It is other worldly!
Reed would have picked off Burrow at least twice! Come on now! No one on LSU defense could have covered Shockey and I can ramble on for much more. GTFOH with the LSU slurpees!Don’t care. They don’t score 30 on our 01 defense
I'm going to take it a bit further and say that this loss by Clemson is 100% on the shoulders of Trevor Lawrence. He was very mediocre tonight. He was consistently high on his throws and he just didn't seem to have it.He played a clean and great game and Clemson likely wins. He left a lot of points on the field. Not blaming him but it took a high performance by him to get the W.
Oh good Lord man who cares what he does in the NFL? That isn't what we are discussing. The kid had an amazing season and an absolutely incredible performance in the National Championship game. Burrow's performance was one for the ages rules or no rules. It's ok to give people the credit they deserve once in a while. Give the kid his due. He did this against an extremely talented and well coached Clemson squad who were the defending national champions. So he's out of this world? I hear you.Again for the 100th time he can't do that here
Nah, I just have eyes.Uh, no. Unless you are a LSU fan...
Ed Reed, Jonathan Vilma and Vince Wilfork would simply say 'no'.

Yeah and you're talking about football almost 20 years ago or were you just 10? I think Ed would have made plays and our pro bowlers on offense would have put it in the end zone...Nah, I just have eyes.
What do you think our defensive unit on the field would be when LSU goes 4 or 5 wide in Randy Shannon's defensive system?
LSU's defense made a future 1st round qb in Lawrence look above average, what do you think they'd make Dorsey look like?
My Caneness can't allow me to outright say now they are GOAT. But in 3 to 5 years when those guys are in the NFL I'll reassess. It's the first time I've ever contemplated it.

You didn't answer the question so:
When LSU went 4 or 5 wide, Randy would probably pull Clark off and throw Fitzgerald out there with a basic as **** Nickel look and get carved the **** up.
If, and I say IF we couldn't run on that defensive front, we wouldn't score more than 24.
Funny you bring that up. The team '01 was compared to when we were pronounced the best was '95 Nebraska, and since we just throttled a triple option team it seemed like a no brainer. That’s because no one was running anything like this offense in 2001-02.
In this hypothetical where the canes take a time machine to two weeks before the game and they start preparing for an offense that they’ve never seen, which era of rules are we using?
LSU's schedule is also at the very least equal to ours
