i disagree ... i cant see klubnik having the same effect as drake, hampton's yard came at the threat of maye ... lets line it up and see, in 24 quarters of defensive football we've only had 1-2 bad quarters against a top 3 pick at their place ...

Shipley and Mafah will easily combine for 150+ yards on us. I expect north of 200 after what UNC’s shoddy OL did to us up front.
We’ve generated 3.4 ypc against UNC, 3.5 against GT (both horrendous rushing defenses), and 3.2 against Texas 7-5.
Our running game STINKS. Who’s to blame? I’m not sure. Probably a little bit of everyone. We will not run on Clemson. It’s going to be TVD throwing 40+ times, so unless he has an A&M type of game (and Clemson’s secondary is much better than A&M’s), we will lose.

They have a better roster and more stable schemes throughout the years. Better roster building with depth through years of hard work. I agree with Josh Pate there is a good team here but we have holes. Just like he said it was next year to me that’s why I thought we would have an average season this year. My whole thing was to see the youth the physicality and the coaching on O. I erased GT lol…..but everything else scheme wise I don’t even have a problem with it. I see hella improvements across the board but we need a qb. That’s just the facts
All previous head coaches lose to UNC 55-10
don't have to run wild on them, just have to keep the box heavy ... tvd is the key ... can he make sound reads and move safeties and backers

what effect as drake?. Just schematically/personnell wise we gave up 3rd and longs to them for tds.
Drake didnt make 1 pass that wowed me during the game...**** tvd actually did as mid as he played. Alot of yall are overrating the **** out of Drake Maye because every UNC qb kills us, We just gave him life and now him getting Walker back should help his stats a lot now.
Clemson will be able to run the ball just as well as UNC did. Klubnik can run just as good as Maye did...Clemson wr's are big n tall....Jaden Davis wills till be small and slow. Our safeties will still be overcompensating in the run game or short routes, with over head shots available for clemson.
I dont see Maye as a top 3 pick. He is likely a first rounder though.
Must win game. Clemson is no good. This will tell us a lot about Mario. Listen Marcus Freeman is a horrible in game coach, as bad as Mario. The guy decided to play with 10 on the last play of a huge game. The team however still believes in him and as we saw Saturday, and can rise to the moment in a big home game on Saturday night. Miami is as talented as Notre Dame. Can Mario get his team to do the same? If not, wheels come off.

UNC QB makes them better than Clemson. We won't put up 31 that's for sure... If we don't quit, this game is in the 20's each.

Drake may did NOTHING exceptional against us other than take what we easily gave to him. He wasnt running around like Jordan Travis making things happen on his own and improvising. **** they had him all rattled in the first half.
It wont be hard for Clemsons qb to do the same.

I got clemson beating unc later in the year.

drake resume speaks volumes ... that's the effect i'm speaking to ... i think we can dedicate more to the box than with unc due to the threat of maye and make klubnik show us he can consistently make accurate throws ... lb's gotta show up, mauigoa has to play better ... but if clemson was ever ripe for a win, it's now ... prior to the second half, no one had just gave it to us defensively this year ... we've played good defensive football for roughly 22 of 24 possible quarters

The first cbs link i clicked also has Kam Kinchens as a top 15 pick u do realize that as well right, And Leonard Taylor as a first rounder?. I gave up on these early mocks when i have seen multiple of them with..................ZION NELSON on them..yea the Zion Nelson that hasnt played for us for 2 years.
Alot of those dudes dont do much research/film work. They just go off of hs rankings and if a guy produces even a smudge based off their 5 star hs ranking they put em on their "draft boards".
Drake Maybe b4 we improved his draft status like we always do UNC players was "mid" stat wise. Dare i say...Tvd and him were around the same level of play and qbr.
We may can dedicate mor eto the box hopefully..the issue i see though is they have better runners int he backfield and better ol play. Im all for blitzing the **** out of the Klubnick dude and living and dying with the 50/50 balls at this point. lol

And we’re clearly not tuff and phyzical enough if UNC’s shoddy OL is manhandling us up front while our own OL can’t muster 4ypc against any P5 opponents.
